You’re here now because you’ve hit a wall. You know you should be focusing more effort on growing your business, but you’re just not sure where to start.

That’s where I come in.

I’m Kayla, and helping you break through that wall is my sweet spot. I do that by helping you create robust, holistic, and fulfilling experiences for your customers.

That might look like us working together to build out a comprehensive marketing strategy. It might mean implementing processes and procedures to help standardize your marketing efforts, so you’re ready to build your organization’s marketing team – or maybe even hire your first marketing team member. It might even look like me taking a blog post, social media channel, or other parts of your marketing strategy off your hands, because you just don’t have the time or expertise to take care of them yourself. Whatever it is, I’m here to help. I’m excited to get to know you and your business.

I’ll warn you. My philosophy about marketing is a little different.

Traditionally, marketing has been focused on the acquisition of new clients and customers. It’s been defined as the strategies and tactics an organization uses to generate awareness and increase demand for its products and services.

And yes, I agree. Driving awareness and acquisition is absolutely part of every successful marketing strategy, but not the only part.

My philosophy is that the importance of marketing – think: branding, messaging, PR, website content, email campaigns, social media, and all the other things you turn on your marketing brain for – that stuff doesn’t just go away when a prospect becomes a client or customer. When done right, marketing is involved in shaping a person’s entire experience with your organization, even after they’ve purchased.

When I work clients, my goal isn’t just to help them drive awareness and demand generation. My goal is to help them optimize their customers’ entire journey, start, finish, and everything in between.

I know that sounds overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. I’m here to help you understand how a solid marketing strategy, executed to a tee, can enhance your brand’s reputation, drive sales, and transform customers and clients into raving advocates. I’m human too.

By day, I’m a motivated, career-oriented twenty-something with a lot of goals and to-dos, and not nearly enough hours in the day to conquer them all. I like telling stories, and I like telling them in a way that’s authentic and action-inspiring. Marketing and branding is my jam. Optimizing customer journeys through relevant, delightful messaging is my passion.

Fiancé (that hunka-lunka in the picture with me), Baby (Puppy) Cooper and I call Sauk City, WI home. We spend most of our time navigating the world of “homeownership” and soaking up all the four-seasonal goodness Wisconsin has to offer. Night or day, weekend or not, I am a Wisconsinite through and through.

I enjoy hole-in-the-wall watering holes, Farmer’s Market Saturdays, October days spent perusing pumpkin patches, and weekend mornings spent trolling overflowing antique shops. I wear Badger-adorned apparel with pride. I’m into humble, homey upbringings, and I know I’m lucky to have sprouted up from just that.
